Full-Time Customer Service Representative Wanted!

Willow Tex, LLC is seeking the next VOICE of our brand! A full-time Customer Service Representative position is available in our Mount Airy, North Carolina manufacturing facility, located at 501 Piedmont Triad West Drive. Willow Tex manufactures and distributes high quality, synthetic leather, specifically engineered to exacting quality standards.

The Customer Service Representative will continue building the IZIT Leather brand through strong relationships with our customers. The CSR’s primary responsibility is to provide all Willow Tex customers and sales reps with OUTSTANDING customer service and satisfaction.

Schedule – Normal working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime and schedule changes may be required when necessary to meet customer demands.

Pay Range: Dependent on experience and qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed upon procedures
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; clarify understanding to determine the most appropriate products based on requirements for the specified application
  • Update customer records to ensure database integrity
  • Prepare quotes, adhering to established pricing structures; deviations must have the approval of Management on a case by case basis
  • Maximize sales by keeping customers advised of new products, product changes, and obsolete products
  • Receive and accurately process customer purchase orders by entering in the order management system, confirming with sales order acknowledgement
  • Distribute sales/shipping documents to the Willow Tex team, following up to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor inventory to ensure stock is available for purchase
  • Inform customers of any changes or delays from previously confirmed order acknowledgements
  • Effectively communicate customer concerns, requests, and returns with Willow Tex team members, using agreed upon procedures
  • Develop and maintain broad knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, procedures, and other important issues through management communications, meetings, informal and formal training
  • Maintain daily contact notes in customer database and update daily ship display board
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Assist in other work areas when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

Required:

  • Associate’s Degree in related field and minimum of 3 years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and 5 or more years of experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Bright, articulate, and energetic, with professional phone voice and enunciation
  • Ability to answer calls in a cheerful manner and build relationships with customers
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude when faced with difficult situations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a concise, clear and focused manner
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes and think conceptually
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent math skills
  • High level of organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and adapt to change

Preferred:

  • Previous customer service and inside sales experience
  • Thorough understanding and on-the-job experience with ERP and CRM Systems
